does this go here?

working on the front cover and all the brackets for the alternator and ps pump and i have a bracket not sure on where it goes? below is a pic of the area i am working on and the other pic is the bracket, i am holding it in the place i think it might go. any help anyone?

Its kinda hard to tell with out the alt and pump in there but that looks about right. The end your holding should go to a bolt just below the valve cover. I can take a pic if you want.

thanks for the reply mike!!! i don t think i need a pic inless you love taking and posting pic. i figured the end i was holding went to that bolt below the valve cover and the other end went between the alternator and the alt. bracket? just wanted to make sure before i tighten everything back. i have not seen a complete engine in about a year and my memory isnt gettig any better

You described it exactly as mine looks! BTW I do like taking and posting pics for the first few months on the BB no one saw my hole 90, just one small part at a time until I was told to get some pics for a Bio.
