Does an upgrade exist for 94 Dome Light?

I pulled the dome light assembly to check the bulb size. Was thinking about replacing it with an LED. When I tried to replace the assembly I found that it would not stay in the opening. It keeps falling out. Anybody else had this problem or is there a good fix or an upgrade available for purchase somewhere?

The little snaps crack off. Put some tape on the sides to make it a bit thicker and it should stay in.

Yeah, that came to mind but was hoping to avoid the low rent fix route.

Does it look like this?

AMR3155

Or this?

STC251

Both still available.

If you look long enough it can be found, but it's not worth the effort. Change over to an LED bulb and secure the lens with a tie wrap that goes completely around the light. With an LED you will never need to get to the bulb again.

You can get the plastic section without the dome light cutout (got one from George at RDS onetime) and you can mount any style you want.
