Do Jeep seats fit the D-90?

I was just wondering,

would Jeep Wrangler (YJ body style - square headlights) seats fit the D90 rovers?
I'm thinking the "sahara" edition green seats would be a good substitue, since I hate the Recaro seats that the previous owner put on my D90.

thanks,

I am doing some reasearch on the Bestop Trailmax Pro seat for Jeep Wranglers. I looked at one at 4 wheel parts wholesalers last nite. The slider bracket looks similar to the one in the D-90. I don't know yet how the slider will bolt in but I should be able to drill holes if it does not fit the existing stock holes. The new wrangler has a different bracket than the older wranglers so I don't know if that matters. The trailmax pro is a pretty comfy seat and much better than the stock seat. I plan on doing the switch sometime early March So I will post the results.

Craigd,

thanks the the replyl I'll wait to hear from you.
Rover, I'd much rather get the stock ones, but...if its a matter of spending more than twice the money, for a basic seat...I'd rather spend the money elsewhere.

Of course, there is the matter of getting access to the seat bottom compartments.

They fit just fine, rather well actually. I can not tell you for sure as I have never, ever, seen a TJ with square headlights. Your either thinking of the TJ with round or the YJ with square. Rear seat will not fit well, fyi.

In that case, I am not sure, the TJ fits very well, the YJ are much skinnier.
