DiscoII front drive shaft

Has anyone here used the DiscoII front drive shaft before? I think the only mod you have to make is the output flange from the tranfer box to that of the DiscoII. I picked one up that needs a little TLC from ebay and will probably throw it on when I do my springs but I am curious if anyone here has already had experience with it...

I've used one (on a DI) but instead of using the flange off the DII I purchased an adapter from Toddco. Since I have a lift I thought it would be better to add an inch to the shaft. Right now I removed it and installed a 30 degree DC wide yoke shaft.

Thanks, John. Was there a reason you switched shafts such as vibration or anything? Just curious. Thanks for the pics, too!

I installed the DII shaft because of vibes from a 2 lift. When I went up to 3 inches the DII shaft was cutting it so that's when I decided to install one of our driveshafts.

Will the DII shaft bolt directly onto the LT-230? I need one from the rear of my series project... John, let me know if you want to sell it
