Yeah I have a 99 D1 Picked up for 1500.00 no rust or dents. Added another 5000.00 and have a heck of a offroader cheap.

Yep, last DIs were in 99 (I'm guessing mid-year) and then the DIIs came out....

Best year for DIs in my opinion are 94-95, 96 and up had too many electrical issues.

A real nice 95 DI with under 90k miles can cost up to 2,500....and that's a lot.

then you are looking for a 1997 or older as in 1998 they started using Chawton White instead

Heck I've got two 97's, they've been mighty reliable..

My black one will be for sale soon. The only thing I'm changing is the Motor (I'm keeping the 5.0L) but I'm putting a nice 4.0 in it..
