Disco II Driver window pop

ok i know this is a defender forum but im not allowed to post on discoweb yet so i have to put it here.

when i roll down my window in my 04 disco it pops within a second every time and then rolls down normally, how do i fix this?

Replace the plastic bushing in the window track.

Also, download the RAVE CD. it has the workshop manual, etc. will be very helpful. Just do a search on DWEB for RAVE.

You can't just buy the bushing. You have to buy the regulator. Cambell figured out something that would work I think as he just did this (or said he was going to do this when he showed up at my place with the door apart on his DII and I pointed out the problem). Way back when, I used "HELP" brand wiper motor bushings on my ex's old disco I. (this was 10 years ago)

Ron,

Could i use the bushing or regulator off a disco I, they are relatively easy for me to get a hold of.
