I installed a Disco 2 double cardone front driveshaft in the 110 yesterday to help with the vibration due to the lift. My question is if all 110 driveshafts are the same length? There seems to be more of the splines showing on the slip joint than I would expect. The truck has a 200 TDI and LT77.
I guess the question really is if the t-case is in the same position regardless of engine/transmission. I know the R380 is longer but the engine is farther forward with 300tdi's. Anyone know how much of the splines on the slip joint should be showing?
Td5 and 300 front shafts are different length.... 300 is about an inch or so longer than a Td5 (so the D2 shaft will be the same as a Td5)
200Tdi shafts are quite a bit longer than the 300's if i remember right.
