Differential Ratios

Anyone know if the differential ratios on a Euro 2004 TD5 are the same as on a NAS 1997 D90? If they are different, do you know what each one is? Considering a swap of sorts and need to know. Thanks.

If you are considering swapping both axles, it does not matter (your speedo might be off a little, power/acceleration/... might be slightly affected). I can probably check the workshop manuals and see what they say.

No, I'm thinking about using a 4 valve per cylinder gasoline V8 with the TD5 diffs. The truck will be mainly used on the highway and I don't want the diffs to be geared too low. If you have a reference that will tell you the ratios I'd appreciate your help. Many thanks.

The 2004 Td5 runs the same 3.54 ratio as a US D90/D110. That ratio will be fine on the highway unless you install some large tires.
