Differential

I don't have a very good service manual so maybe someone can help. Where the rear driveshaft connects to the rear differential I am getting a small leak at the flange between the yoke and differential. Is this an expensive fix, and since the leak is very small can I just add oil to the rear diff as needed?

For what is worth I have 133,000 miles and this is my first leak, so I feel very lucky so far.

its an easy fix. You just need the new seal socket to fit flange nut and a torque wrench. Pry out the old seal, install the new one, install flange with bolt and torque to spec. Done.

Sorry to bring back an old thread, but does anyone have a part number for the seal? Mine just started leaking. Possibly a link to order?

Thanks, Chris.

Will that work for both the front and the rear? Front's leaking a bit too.

Thanks!
