Diff Lock won't engage

Previous owner probably NEVER used it (or knew what it was). Where should I start in getting it freed up?

The good news is it's probably just frozen linkage. Get some really good penetrating oil and hit every joint, it may tak a while. You can get to most of it down through the shifter boot, worse case is you may have to remove the floor boards and tunnel cover.
