MPG seemingly drops signifigantly once you get above the optimum rpm . The difference between 62mph and 70 on mpg is quite a bit with tdi's. Td5's not so much.
I concur with this, at 60-62 I get almost 5mpg better than anything above 65mph.

Looks like it. It must be stout as it is behind the Coyote/Hurricane Ford gassers in their F150s.
