Diesel Ign Switch pin outs HELP!

For my 19J I just got a new ignition switch (updated) and I am having an issue with pin outs...

Pin 1 White / Red
Pin 2 (there are two spades) (White / Black)
Pin 3 Brown
No pin 4
Pin 5 White

Brown
Brown / Red
White / Red
White / Black
White

The old switch was a tad different and it's not matching up...

It starts, but how do I get the Glows to come on...do I have to add a glow relay or put a manual switch in?...not ideal.

This switch can not handle the glow power, you need to add a relay and take a feed off the start wire, white/red.

I take you don't have a wire diagram, you need too.

Why didn't you get the correct switch? prc2735

You could order the exact replacement IG SW or we have a heavy duty glow plug relay that should work provided the switch handles everything less the Glow Plugs.

I wanted to get the new style 1 key for the doors and ignition...I didn't realize that there was a difference...I have the wire diagram, but as I dug I figured out that the 19J needed the switch that had a glow position and the later ones used a relay...

Robert...have any relays available...?

It is actually the old style that is one key. Best to just get the correct switch.

John...I had the old style with an ignition key and separate door keys...this has the single large key and has the longer door tumblers for the Puma doors...from what I have found out is the later engines used the glow relay...
