diesel filter unit

Has anyone ever used any hose other than this one? Would 8mm fuel hose work?

The stock fuel line you see there is just regular nylon tubing. Cheap and available anywhere. You can form it like that by heating it up.

I by the Biodiesel compatible hose and connect it with hose clamps.
You can reuse the banjos on the lines in the picture by removing the lines with a razor blade or wire brush wheel.

Kool thanks.What about the tips that screw on to the diesel filter unit and the lift pump? Where can i get those?

I dont have the banjos or the line. Will go to the hardware to get the lines. Would a hardware have those banjos? Thanks
