Diamond plate wing tops

So.... the place where I just bought my d90 from decided to mount the diam plate wing tops on the truck after I bought it.?? Don't know why. I may like it, I may not. Haven't gotten the truck delivered yet, but would've been nice for me to decide.....

Just curious if this is reversable/how bad are the holes left behind if I take these off?

Don't think so. I saw pretty good pics of it without them before they put them on and everything looked fine.

They're up there on the list of best things I've put on my 90. Gone are the days of worrying about denting the stupid wing tops every time you peak under the hood.

They are the one diamond plate I don't hate. I use them because I lean on the fenders and tend to dent the tops without them.

If you add them, do you need longer screws for the vent covers? Curious.

Who did you get your truck from and do you telling me what you paid? I'm in the market and have been looking.

Thanks,
Chad

They'll grow on you. Nice flat place to set wrenches, beer can, etc., while working under the hood. 'don't have to worry about harming no delicate paint job.

You will be glad you have them... They just get dented to easy, even when leaning on it with your elbows.... The only X-plate I like as well. I prefer the silver though... Hate the black unless its on a black 90...
