Determine clutch pressure plate wear

How does one determine if a clutch pressure plate is worn or not?

I would just get it turned everytime you seperate the tranny to do the clutch or engine. The only bitch is the dowel pins, sometimes they come out easy, sometimes not. They have this puller thing, dosen't always work though, happened to my series III flywheel, I just had them machine them off and bolted the clutch cover to the flywheel, not enough power/torque on 2.25 to make a real problems.

I changed mine whe the clutch started slipping. The friction disc was fine.

Interesting. OK, I'll stop being a CB and get the pressure plate too.
