defroster paint?

Hello Board!

Anybody have any experience with "defroster grid paint"?

I was scraping off some microscopic remnants of tint and I slipped and took off about an inch of the defroster grid..

Anybody have any experience with a certain product? It seems easy enough but just checking out ideas.

Thanks Board!

Josh-is there a factory fix for this?

Google defroster repair. There is a site that sells all kinds of universal parts. Most autostores also hv the defroster conductive paint repair kit on the shelf where all the sealants and glues are.

Piggyback question on defrost repair....

The tab broke on my rear defrost. Google says use solder paste or silver-bearing solder and had mixed reviews on the adhesive repair kits at auto stores. What's the best repair solution?
Thanks

Remove old tab & replace with new tab or just solder broken connector back on top?
