Defendoor

Anyone seen or used this? I've cleaned out the fuel cap indent enough to want to try this.

I'm ordering one fully realizing that the wise words of Jim C were perhaps never more appropriate:

"I think they're still probably toolish to put on, but I still want them."

I bought one about a year ago from one of their Ebay listings, and when the shipping was delayed a little (not the sellers fault, either), he sent me two, and then several weeks later the original order showed up! Now I have three, should I ever lose one. Plus, I can use one on the yellow 94 ST I bought last week, and fully intend to! Its hardly noticeable once installed. (At least without a skull & crossbones or whatever.) I dig the one I have on my 97 SW, and it keeps all the road crap out and works great.

Awesome customer service, and I second the earlier comment about him being a great guy to do business with.

I just realized that a set of the rear speaker box things I also bought even longer ago for my 97 (another Ebay purchase) were probably from the same guy by looking at the web link above.

Both items are recommended. Functional and cheap, too! How often can those both apply to a Defender part purchase?

I would wait until I could meet him in person and buy one from the pagoda that pops up out of the roof of his Rover. :D

Defendoor arrived and just in time for Halloween too!

My impressions are:

1. It was cheap

2. It fits perfectly

3. It arrived quickly from overseas

4. Definitely the easiest install of any mod I've ever done.

Toolish or not, I like it.

Thanks!

The good folks at ECR deserve all the credit.

Well, except for the Defendoor. I put that on myself.
