Defender TD5 diff Lock light

Just a quick question hopefully someone can help me out please.
So my dash display light for my low range or diff lock engaged is not working could it be a loose wire to the transfer box or something. My fog lights, head lights, fuel, engine ,hazard etc the all work, except low range/ diff lock.
Iv jacket my vehicle up and chocked the wheels with blocks so i know diff lock works, and iv used low range also.

All feed back appreciated Thanks

Check the wiring by putting a jumper wire across the connectors for the switch on the transfer box. It should light up then. If not check electricity is getting to the switch with a test light then track back or forward accordingly.

Just a thought...assuming I'm understanding this right...is your dome light working? On my 97 the front interior dome light is on the same fused circuit (stupid I know) as that switch. I found out the hard way. Good luck!
