defender pitman arm on disco 1 box?

Can anybody tell me if the defender 110 tith pitman arm fits on a disco 1 ps steering box? I am gathering parts for a power steering upgrade. I am looking for an easy conversion of a ps steering box for my 110 tith.

Thanks,
Buck

Yes, the pitman arms are interchangeable. I advise running the Disco arm and longer draglink as the tie rod end is much easier to replace than the ball joint that mounts into the Defender pitman arm. It also allows for more suspension travel.

Not sure about Tithonus, but regular defender pitman arms fit just fine. I would actually recommend keeping the D1 pitman arm and converting to d1 steering rod ends... Just my opinion, I do it on most of my trucks!

another vote for the disco setup. We replace the defender setup on nearly every truck

It's not that bad if the pitman arm ball joint is good.

starting to put the power steering bracket on tith

I am starting to get ready to put in a power steering set up in my 1986 tith. I was under the truck tonight to see how the bracket fit on the engine. There doesn't seem to be enough room for the bracket under the alternator bracket. From what I can tell the bracket is held onto the engine by 2 bolts. Is the bracket bolted to anything else? Does the alternator bracket bolt to the power steering bracket
