Defender lift up door retro fit?

I have tried to find a thread on this but seem to find the reverse. I want to retro fit my 1989 110 CSW doors to lift up doors. Not the two piece doors, but the early hybrid doors that are lift up with the wind up windows. I see I can get skins and I have plans to repair the door frames, but is there a way to retrofit the lift up handles instead of th push button handles?

Is it just a matter of switching out the catch/latching mechanism, or will the frame have to be altered? I haven't seen the lift up handle doors up close, but really like the look of them.

I saw these part numbers listed on the forum:
LH door handle - MUC1035
RH door handle - MUC1034
LH remote handle assembly - MUC1217
RH remote handle assembly - MUC1216
LH striker - MRC8445
RH striker - MRC8444

Thanks again for the help and input.
