defender inner fenders on a Series coil chassis

Anyone familiar with the Designa coil chassis and its ilk know if I can fit defender inner fenders to one? I'd love free up the space to make my engine bay less crowded when I put the truck back together.

IF I remember, WHen I built mine, they would work but you would need to use 90 front fenders complete. Or I guess you can cut down the series fender on the inside. WHat are you planing to do?

Kevin,

I fit some Defender fenders to my Land Rover with the Designa Chassis. You will have to trim the holes for the shock towers and make small brackets to mount the fenders to the chassis towards the front. I thought you looked at mine when you dropped by this Summer. I can take some photos for you.

Chris, no hurry but a couple of photos would be great.

Randy, just looking to open up some space. The passenger side especially which is crammed with the battery, ARB compressor, Mansfield heater and snorkel routing. It's all apart already as I'm pulling the bulkhead for repairs (see Truck Projects thread).

I'd have to trim the inside of my existing wings if it could work but don't want to spend the coin on new defender wings.

Kevin,

It is a lot easier to bolt on used Defender fenders with the inner wells on them.

And these used defender fenders would be sitting around where?
