Defender high steer setup?

Hello, I am about to swap defender axles into my leaf sprung series 3. Anyone know of a high steer setup? Or have any suggestions on making one.

Thank you.

You can use a P38 steering box / P38 modified drag link / discovery I PS pump & fluid reservoir / 1 custom high preasure hose & a double V pulley for a power steering setup. In addition you would need to fabricate 1 bracket for the PS pump and another for mounting the steering box to the frame. I dont have plans for the brackets but made several from a template last month when doing this conversion if your interested.

I did a hi steer on my 109. Axles, of course, are different front the defender so I'm not sure if my setup would be helpful. I had some arms made to bolt to the top of the swivel housings. I made drag link and tie rod out of some stout tubing with one ton tie rod ends to fit the arms.

Departing 90, power steering is on the things to do list. I would like to someday take you up on your offer. Thank you.

Slorocco do you have any pictures of your setup?

Roverchef I am spring under axle setup.

I picked up a set of complete defender axles with air lockers for a fare price. So I will be installing them as soon as I figure out a high steer setup. I am thinking of getting a swivel housing off a right hand drive defender or disco. I will post in the wanted section asking for one. Maybe I will get lucky.
