Defender and RR steering wheel spline differences

Does anyone know the differences between the spline count and size of a 97 D90 NAS compared to a 2000-2007 Rangie?

Dunno about new ones. The old ones are 3/4 48.

Hmmm. Whatever. RRC uses the same size as a Series 2A. Not sure about P38, but doubt it would be different.
There was a major design change to Range Rover within that 2000-2007 spread, so you have to be a bit more specific/careful about your choice. I assume you are wondering about the column and not the wheel.

I am wanting to install a later model rangie wheel in the D90 as I have a 6 speed auto and need a way to manual shift up/down and I also have cruise option.
So having that at my fiingertips would be great, if it bolted on somehow.

Two different splines on the Defender depending upon the year. I think the NAS are the same as the early Defender four spoke wheel. I think it is that spline count that work on the RR. The Defender two spoke wheel is a 48 spline.

it would be an airbag wheel minus airbag of course.
one with cruise and shift buttons if possible, dont think the RRC had shift buttons did they?
somewhere I saw an insert that replaced the airbag and looked stock
