Def. 110 no start

Well after almost 1 year and 12k miles of near perfect reliability, my 110 didn't start this morning. Here are the sympoms: Turned the key, fast ticking sound of the starter but engine not catching. Tried it again and nothing, no more ticking even. The dome light comes on and the radio will turn on but that's it. Seems like a fuse blew but I checked both fuseboxes and all are intact. Is there an in-line fuse somewhere I'm missing? I replaced the battery and it didn't help. Also replaced the ignition switch two weeks ago.

Thanks for the help!

Have you checked the battery? Usually when it ticks like that it's a low battery.

Yep, brand new fully charged Sears Platinum dry cell battery installed yesterday. Seems like I've got something funny happening with the electrical system.

Check battery for full charge.

See if you have any sparks when you reconnect the battery cables, have everything in the vehicle turned off. My winch was drawing current all the time which was killing my battery over time. When I disconnected the winch cable the problem stopped.

See if there are sparks or pull out the volt meter and see if you have a draw on the battery when the vehicle is shut off.

Fixed it! I feel kind of silly but now I know what that red T-handle is for under the drivers seat. Apparently, it switches off the electrics when turned. I turned it back and it started right up! My kids were playing like soldiers in the car and one of them must have turned it! Now I have to put the dash back together......My reliability streak continues!
