Decent Wiper blades ?

Anyone one know of a Decent brand wiper blade for the Defender ? So tired of the blades falling apart every season ( of course during a rain storm where you need to see)

I have read about the brand "Sillblade" from various parts sellers doing the job proper but they cost a bit more for a pair of wiper blades.

I have Silblades currently. They are great and the silicone doesn't break down as the rubber does when exposed to UV. The only draw back is that they grip the glass really well so if you have a weak wiper motor it may slow down.

I cant imagine the wipers going any slower .. but maybe it will be the Defender version of Intermittent wipers or time delay ;-)

I use sill blades and they do last a very long time and work great.
The only real drawback is they don't work very well when it's a very light rain.... They streak.
It doesn't bother me and work really well once the rain picks up a bit.

I think 11 is the stock size but you can run 13 inch wipers with out them hitting the top of the windshield.

I think the 11" might be used for the rear door but 13" fits also.

X2. I had Silblades on my DII for 5 years and they were fine. The only reason I got rid of them is because I switched to D1 wiper arms.

I've had silblades on for 5 years and they still work like new ... Actually better than new because the silicon rubbing on the windscreen is like rain-x. We'll wort the money.
