Death clip !

Yep, that's the name for that little bugger on a french LR forum.

I'm talking about the little piece of crap that holds the clutch slave cylinder pushing rod to the clutch fork.

How do you get it back in his place without having a nervous breakdown ?

There are two kinds and one requires someone with long skinny fingers. Good luck. I wasted better part of a day once.

Easy, just remove the engine, and then with a 10mm spanner you can undo the clip, re-insert the pushrod, then refit the clip....





....then refit the engine... :-(
