DBA Rotors...

Anybody have any advice on who may have front DBA gold rotors in stock for a 94 D90?

What's the popular opinion on the best pads to run with them? Landrover pads? Mintex????

Thanks!

Try bwoverland.com. Jesse should have them in stock.

As far as pads, I'd recommend the LR pads. I run kevlars and while they stop great, they squel like mad after the rotors have heated up. I've de-glazed them numerous times and still can't get them to show me some love.

I had the same problem, it was so loud it hurt my ears. I switched to regular pads and had the same problem, as it turned out the zinc coating on the rotor got so hot it melted and reattached itself in a textured pattern on the rotor causing the new pads to glaze and squeal/scream for mercy. I had to have the rotors sanded smooth and have new pads put in. So far so good but it's only been a week. You can also see if John at expeditionexchange.com has any or dap-inc.com

EE is out. DBA hasn't produced a run of the discs in quite some time according to John....

Get the while you can I guess.

Interesting Dave. I'll pull them and see what I can discover. Never even thought of it.

IF you need a pair, and will only settle for DBA, I have a brand new pair of vented/slotted/drilled rotors I would sell...but the price would have to be pretty good...I was getting ready to put them on my CrewCab this week.

Make me an offer if you REALLY can't find 'em anywhere else.

DBA rotors....

I did manage to find some. Rover Connections had rears, and Browne & Ware Overland had fronts.

Seems like the popular opinin for pads is stock Land Rover.

Thanks for the help!!!

Are they the long life gold or just drilled and slotted DBA's?

They are the DBA Gold's.

And they are getting pretty hard to find. I did email DBA, and recived a reply back within minutes. Aparently there are more shipments coming within the next couple weeks to the US.
