Looking for potential repairs for d90 roll cage cover cracks. Rubber roll cage covering has numerous cracks...guessing from the sun.

Chunks coming off - crazy glue them back.
Mine is cracking all over. A past thread was not hopeful and no answer was given.
Sorry not to have helpful news.

Try a local powdercoater. I believe the gloss was 20% for black to replicate the stock look. The rubberized crap on there is useless anyway. i had the whole shebang done for under 200 dollars. Stripped to metal, primed with two coats aircraft primer, and two coats of 20% gloss black.

Eric,
I like the stripped idea, but how does or do the tops fit?
I assume without the rubber, there is another 1 to 3 inches of play with a soft top in place. Or are you a CHI hard top to beat the cold?

I agree with you, the rubber was weird - no not see it in the UK, only on the US Jeep. A US import requirement no doubt.

No, Just a standard NAS. Thought the rubber referred to the ruberized OEM coating.....

Thx for the feedback. Mine is not coming off in chunks yet but I would consider it stage one. Would be interested to see how it looks Eric. Do you run a soft top?

Eric,
I checked the bio page. You are not listed. Do you have a photo or two you can post. I am curious to see how it looks.
Oh, and if Chris comes into this thread - bio bio bio, yeah I know. But have not done my bio yet either.

Sorry,

No BIO. No digital camera yet. just bought a house. Best picture I can paint is the refinished bar looks spot on to the original OEM, except in black powder.
