148" from the face of the front stock bumper (not counting a brush guard which would add approximately 3 inches) to the rear NAS bumper not counting how much the spare tire hangs off the back which is approximately extra 8 inches

------ Follow up post added April 3rd, 2014 12:04 PM ------

That's pretty close but I wouldn't make any blueprints of that

I think wiki has it at 160. I was setting up transport earlier this week and needed to send the driver something he'd believe other than my word.

Yeah I had some notes down from previously when I was contemplating some storage and I had it down as my measurements being 153" and another +14" or so for my SG bumper on the front and spare tire on the back.

Thanks guys. I was looking at a house yesterday with a short garage and was doing some measurements. It has been a pain in the ass to find a house in Richmond with a decent garage. Of all the places I've lived I have never seen such a shortage of garages with homes.

You don't bring the D90 to look at houses?

Whoa! Bench seat brother. I put both the 4 year old and the baby seat on that bench in carseats....good to go!

Its the height of the Defender that is going to cause you more trouble than length.
One reason I bought the house I'm in was the height of the garage door let me get my D1 in.

A 110 will fit in my garage which has exterior dimensions of 20x20. My house might be available to rent this August if you are looking to rent again.
