Curt tow hitch receiver on an LR4

Has anybody used one? The Atlantic British version has been a major disappointment. I also do not wish to buy a genuine hitch as this is my sisters vehicle and I only use it maybe once a year

Not for an LR4, But I bought a Curt Hitch for my wife's Highlander and it fit perfectly.

Like this? Mine is a D3 would think it's the same, fitting was easy just take your time feeding the bolts down the chassis legs.
Had towed some good sized trailers with no issue's

Still looking for that place where I can carry a paddle and get asked what's that.

I had this style Rover Trailer Hitch Receiver - Land Rover Tow Accessories (not this exact one but very similar from ebay) and someone hit my bike rack and the hitch bent like a pretzel. Granted this might have been a good thing because it saved the rack from taking the brunt of the damage.

I have since replaced it with a genuine one.

I had one on my first LR3.

I liked the expensive one from LR better on my second LR3. It's removable and has better ground clearance. Just sayin'.
