Crankshaft pulley #

Hi, appears the crankshaft pulley is worn out on my Defender50th (1998) '4.0' basically the same as the NAS 97.. Is the pulley part number lhg000060 as per the Discovery11 and Range Rover of similar years.

Cheers, tim

The 1997 NAS was err4922 and that has been superseded to err7373 and that has been superseded to NLA. (at least from the dealer).

The part number you've listed is for D2/P38 (even the GEMs P38 it seems). I don't know if it will work or not. Assuming it lines up, I'd think it would.

Hi, thanks, it seems that the 98 V8s had a metal rubber metal 'damper' construction so may be the same as the D2. Is the 1997 a solid pulley?
Thanks, Tim

what part is worn out? if it is just the sealing surface that can be fixed with a speedi-sleeve.

The rubber inner ring has perished and cracked..so the metal inner and outer metals are unstable. It appears this one assembly at one shocking price.

Looks like a disco 1 pulley is the same part number as the one posted- err7373

The LHG000060 from the D2 and Pr38 rangie looks shallower. See photos...

These are from ebay maybe you can find one there. Or in a junker...

Thanks for the images, and given the radiator was out, gave it a reasonable look dispite the condenser in the way. Certainly looks like one of these, question is now, which one?
Cheers, tim
