I know the NAS trucks SW roof is Alpine White - on NAS 110s, the wheels (not wolf, but 'D130' wheels) are Alpine White too.

Although series 2/3 and some defenders, the wheels were painted "limestone", a kind of creamy white, not "white" white, as in some cheesy TV presenters teeth

I am guessing that mine is limestone since it is a 1984 90" and does not look alpine white.

Alpine white look cleaner than the limestone so I might go with Alpine, just need to decide before I head to the paint store in the morning.

Limestone looks good when its fresh. You'll find the code in the color chart.

What would be the proper way of stripping down the SW roof before applying the Alpine White paint?

Is it safe to assume that a Chawton white truck should have a matching roof?

Yes, never 2 shades of the same color.
