Ok so I pulled the radiator got it rotted and replaced all the hoses for the cooling system. I tried the fill method that ECR describes above and still had an air bubble somewhere. I am guessing back in the heating box. I put the passenger side up on ramps and opened up everything and pumped the top hose and still had an air bubble. Finally I put the front end up on ramps opened up everything and the baby burped.
