Compression Test Results 2.5TD

I tested the compression of the engine on my truck today. It has about 108K miles on it.

1 - 400
2 - 420
3 - 480
4 - 420

From what I have read, these are good readings and the pistons and rings appear to be fine.

Could someone confirm that these are good numbers.

My only issue is the oil being deposited in the air filter. I am considering putting in a air/oil separator to address this. Any thoughts on this?

Not sure about the 19J, but 10J is 425 per TAW (

AFAIK 19J's were known for oil ingesting. LR added a cyclonic oil separator in the next gen engine (200tdi) to address this issue.
