It's finally here. A brand new batch of the milled AL vents!!!!

Vents went into production today and will be ready for Powder Coat in 2 weeks! Same design, same material (6061 AL). Only difference is the Powder Coat. As of right now I am going with a semi-gloss black. I can change if enough people want something different. Please keep in mind that with PC you will not be able to see the awesome milled finish.

This time around I am doing a batch of 35 pairs. The first 35 people who buy will get vents. Because the batch is smaller, and the powder coat is 3 times as expensive as ano, the cost has changed. I kept it as low as I could. The Black vents will be $120 a pair. The clear will be $110 a pair. I think that is still pretty good for what you get!

Here's how to buy. I am thrilled that my good friend, and part time man of mystery, Keith from Rover Tracks is now the exclusive distributor for these vents. Keith can be reached at (303) 506-9429 or e-mail keith@rovertracks.com or website http://www.rovertracks.com/.

If you place orders with him he will be able to ship out in about 2-3 weeks depending on how powdercoat goes.

Thank you all for your patience. If you have any questions at all, please post and will get the answer to you.

BTW: I will make the side vents for 300Tdi Intakes if enough people are interested. Cheers.

Also, we can do any color you want including flake if you want for an extra $10 per pair.

ECR is not a parts source. We are not in the mail order business.

Yeah, I've had mine on for a long time now, and my only regret is that the snorkel prevents me from using both of them.

I've noticed that the LRX vents that I have seem to limit the air intake at low speed, I was wondering if yours limit the intake of air at all?

forget that question, i just went back and looked at the picks, many more holes then what i have.

Looks like the vents will be ready on tuesday and going over to powder coat. Last chance for anyone that wants a different color!

Question side vent?

Any chance of a side vent (RHS) as well to replace the stock one on my Tdi?

If you can get one to me and give me a few weeks I can have something designed and get feedback. The run has to be something decent or the money won't make sense! I can do it though. I used to have one.

Update! I got the vents back today, and I have to say, man they look sweet. The PC came out even better than I had thought it would. The satin black has just the right about of shine to it. I am thrilled. I really think everyone is going to love these. There going to be at Rovertracks in 2 days!

man these sure are very nice & a work of art in my opinion, but I'm completly tormented on which would look better since my wingtops have the checker plate protectors on them......

decisions, decisions.....it was easier to get married then this choice.

You must have found a good woman! I love the silver personally. It's different and looks really good.

I doubt it very much unless Keith goes international! These are expensive to make and we are mostly doing it to solve a problem. Defender parts are supposed to be made out of AL after all.

Post sample

I can ship mine (the stock plastic one) to you if need it.
I'll remove the snorkel soon for fitting the cage during the next weeks (finally),
and would like a side vent to match the ones on the wings.

Let me know!
