Clutch Squeak

I have a rather annoying squeak that comes from the clutch pedal every time I press it in and out. Coincidentally, I also hear a distant squeak coming from the clutch area too when I press in the clutch.

Is there as easy fix for this?

Thanks in advance,

Greg

I don't know about a squeak, but mine had a squeal. Turned out it was the carrier for the release bearing spinning on the tube that houses the input shaft. I had shredded bakelite all over the interior of the bellhousing. I guess it was good that is wasn't a cast iron carrier like some Series Rovers have.

Yep, it is right on top of the pedal. I will spray some lubrication up there. Make sense, we'll see how it works. Thanks guys.

Does your have a zerk fitting on the pivot? Somewhere I have a series pedal that does and mine is squeaking on my 90 and I have to figure out how to fit a zerk to it too.

Mine is squeking fierce as well - I sprayed whatever lube I could find on the workshop but didn't quiet it too much - will try some teflon next.
