Clutch spring MOD--MUST HAVE

I have added a second clutch return spring to the pedal. The way the current set up is with the butterfly, the take up is uneven, also, there is a tendency for the clutch not to come all the way back up.

What I did was take a series clutch and brake return spring bracket, cut it in half [so it only uses the two top bolts that hold the clutch pedal assembly on--as oppsed to the top two on the brake as well] and put on a new clutch return spring ($1.50 per at Roversdownsouth).

Huge difference. Much firmer. Best 30minute mod yet. Only downside is you cannot keep the stock cardboard trim. You could use series III trim I suppose if you had to have trim down there.

Ron

PS of course I still have to replace my slave cylinder.
