BTW, my biggest worry now is the fuse box. It looks scary

Try removing the floorboards but leave the fuse box in place. I had no problem removing and installing my transmission with the fuse box in place, but I've got an LT77/stubby R380.

Update: I have the floors, trans tunnel, cubby annd center cover out. There is no way this combo is going to slide back enough to get to to the clutch without taking the seatbox out of the way. Or the shifting mechanism. Will keep you posted.

Calling it quits. Too much unnecesary work. Will buy steal or borrow a proper transmission jack and do it by the book-
