Question Clutch Kit Install Cost?

I think my clutch is about gone at 134,000 miles. The pedal is wanting to stay down and it's been pretty noisy since it got salt water logged last year.
I'm about to take it to my local shop but wondering about how much should I expect to pay? I see a LUK clutch kit on Ebay for $400+ but not sure what to expect for install?
I appreciate any advice.. Thanks

Michael, Before doing this you may want to check your clutch cylinders *master/slave. They may just need to be replaced. Had my pedal drop as well, it would come back up but drop again. After replacing both no issues.

Michael,

I had the same issues as well. Replaced the clutch cylinder and solved the problems.

Yes, check the hydraulics. A worn out clutch very just slip. It has nothing to do with the pedal.

Mike,

Make sure you have done this before doing anything expensive.
