Clutch damper?

Can I install one on my Defender? Would it make the clutch release a lot smoother? Worth it?

What is wrong with your clutch now? Probably best to solve the cause.

No issue, but discos have it, so it must make it feel "nicer"? I was just wondering if it would make the release less jerky in case i drop the clutch by accident.

Edit- Nvm... I answered my own question with this awesome Google site thing..

Get a Td5 clutch pedal.
You're welcome.

Do I need the whole pedal or can I just buy the springs?

Just the spring and the little plastic bushes

You can buy the "kit"

I never installed one when I did my conversion, and I think I have a spare. Not sure of condition, but I'd give it to you for the price of shipping if you reaally wanted it

You're welcome Dave. If I had known it was so much better I would have kept that pedal box...

I don't see how that would work on the earlier pedal. The pedal arm is totally different and the early, wide pedal arm won't fit in the middle of the spring.

Pretty sure you need the whole pedal assembly. Unfortunately LR recently doubled its price.

I sprung for the new pedal. I would pay it again without hesitation.
