Clearing "Check Engine"

I replaced the Mass Air Flow sensor and tried to clear the codes. LR said that the MAS was the issue causing the light to go on. Unfortunately, the code reader does not report any codes that have fired, and I can't use it to clear the light. Am I missing something?

unplug your abs under the pass seat and try again. I assume you have a compatable reader for the truck.

disconnect the battery for 10-15mins

Thanks guys I'll try it today. I'm using the Can-TEch 94169. I'm assuming the ODB II compatible interface on the D90 works with this unit. Seems to be reporting correctly.

Only works on us pre OBDII guys (aka not 97's), jimmy.
