I touched up my engine also. Removed intake manifold to clean. Replaced the washer bottle, master cylinder and new distributor.

Very nice. About how much did the exterior respray cost you in your neck of the woods? Speaking of which, I'll be coming up for the Sparty/Boise State game this next season.

Spartan- As a Mi. native...it seems a waste to let such a fine D90 rust out up there so...if you ever need to store is somewhere "safe" and "rust free" my garage in Texas is open for it!!

That's the reason I painted everything with Rust Bullet (except for the galvanized frame) . I dont think rust will be as much of a concern. I already replaced the door bottom frame before the re paint.

Just as an FYI, do not "clean" galvanizing with anything abrasive or corrosive as that wears off the protective layer on it (the zinc oxidizes and forms a hard outer coating). Dull galvy is better than shiny.

Nice job!

I sprayed Ospho let is set for a few min. Then hosed it off with water. I did not use any abrasives for the galvanized frame.

Looks great! Galvy chassis with black parts always has a high drool factor. Almost too good to drive!
