Question "Clank" sound from back end

I have a 1996 Defender 300TDI 110.
I have developed a "Clank" sound from the back end. The sound only shows up after about 15min of driving and seems to be mostly from the right rear, although sound travels funny from a noisy truck.
The sound doesn't seem to happen around corners, but happens in a straight line and a steady or constant speed. The sound does not seem to happen during take off or acceleration but rather with constant load and often when decelerating.

The rear brakes are new, within the last few days, but this noise has been happening for a number of weeks.

I have not done a grease or lube on any rear bearings or fittings.

Any thoughts or ideas?

The first thing - for safety - is to check all the bushings/bolt/nuts in your suspension setup. Trailing arms, A-arm etc.
