Chirping 110

Starting to pull my hair out over an intermittent chirp that I canít seem to track down. Only happens under partial engine load Ö not so much in first Ö goes away when clutch is pressed Ö and isnít consistent or speed dependent Ö but itís loud and annoying and seemingly near the transfer case-ish.

Did some research Ö first I greased all the UJs. Still chirps. Then I assumed it was exhaust related. New exhaust system (w/ headers) and new rubbers / hangers. New alternator. Belts are newish. And none of this changed my chirpy Landy.

Any suggestions? (it's a 3.5 V8)

I tied a lizard to the speedo cable to catch the cricket. He's coming up empty, too.
