Checker plate (not diamond plate) needed.

Anyone know where I can purchase sheets of checker plate (preferably in California) ?????

Just about any steel or metal supplier will have it. I think it is called 5 bar tread plate. If you ask for checker plate they will look at you kinda funny.

Industrial Metal Supply in Burbank, CA has exactly what you are looking for. But that is a little bit of a drive for you I suppose.

Just a thought. As noted in the post above just about any metal supply store that caters to the public will have this in stock.

Thanks to all of you for your info. I would rather buy a few sheets and make wing protectors, etc. and sell them to everyone at hardly anything above cost. I teach at a local JCwhere my student workforce is very enthusiastic and inexpensive.
