neither is correct for a civilian 83. The second one if it had a third small hole for the 2nd plastic push pin would be correct.

Here's a picture of the correct repeater

Trevor has that style -used on millions of British Leyland vehicles.
I had front wings with those holes but opted to open them up for normal D reflectors.

Hrm... it's funny because I have one of each. I will strip some of the paint away from the round hole'd one and see if there's maybe a little bondo over the other alignment hole. What is the square-holed one from?

Now check this out, on the the one with the round hole, someone started cutting a giant hole in the very front of the wing side, then was like CANCEL THAT, and bondo'd the whole thing up! Now I have to find 2 wing sides that are decent.

Any ideas on what the hell that was all about??

Obviously an attempt at front brake venting.

They needed to change the wing light bulb so they made an access point.

I was thinking flame throwers.

There originals are less than $200 ea. The abs plastic ones that don't dent if you simply look @ them are a few bucks more. I have a set but haven't installed them on anything yet.

We have a set of ABS with handling wear for not much money - alternatively we stock aftermarket aluminum wing sides made from a heavier gauge than the original aluminum-foil for less than the cost of new OEM…

Downside is that all I have in stock at the moment are 300Tdi versions...
