Can't open Bonnet on my defender

I have a long wheelbase defender I cant get the Bonnet open, My cable is stretched , Can anybody help me ??

You can unscrew and remove your grille to access the bonnet latch mechanism. You can also tighten up the cable to the mechanism at this time.

Use two people. One to pull the in cab tab and have the other lightly push down and then lift upward on the bonnet.
