Can a Salisbury use a standard D60 master rebuild kit?

Minus the ring bolts and the pinion nut.


Same shims/bearings/crush sleeve?

Just went through this on my S1 essentially was able to swap in a standard D60 R&P and rebuild kit etc but the only part that was different was the bronze stub axle bushings...and those were a bitch to locate.. finally found a pair of NOS ones in the UK and two weeks later..the boxes were so dusty and crusty i was compelled to take a picture.

My salisbury is probably earlier than yours so you might not have the same issue.

Great thanks, saves me a ton of time locating all the parts. I'm just rebuilding the center diff so the axles don't matter too much. I was afraid that the pinion setup for shimming/bearings were different.

My Sals is a 83 build
