Camel Trophy Side Mirrors

Hey Gang,

Has anyone ever looked into the "deliver truck" style side mirrors used on some Camel Trophy Defenders? They look like they might stand up better to branches and stuff. I assume it's some crazy hard to find UK truck part but there must be something similar here in the States.

Thanks!

IMHO best to order it from the UK and have it air-mailed to your door. The cost is surprisingly low and you do not have to pay VAT:

They're not the camel 'type' though....

a friens if mine built a lookaklike camel90, i'll find out where he got his mirrors from.

I /think/ they were fron an old Bedford TK or MK (civvy & military, but the same mirrors) lorry.

They were only used on camels up to 1988.. And then they went to the defender style mirrors... Extremely hard to find and yes hey are off some older trucks as standard but still very hard to find... I did a section on them I my camel trophy build section on expedition portal..

Could just fold he mirrors into the windows if you want to protect them.
