LOL. Now that I'd do - at least there is something to do there

If Zimm would drive it Harrisburg say, I'd make the trip. I could at least visit friends in Lancaster.

I am not sure. But I do not think he is going to want to do that. I will look on the map where that is.
I could suggest it. Or maybe he would drive it to Vegas and we could all go check it out... ha

Anybody closer to Pittsburgh?

I could also look into a mechanic there. I would prefer someone from this board for sure though. I could pay $100

I would fly out to check it over in person and then drive it back. A cashiers check can be verified over the phone so should not be a big deal
I bought my 300 tdi Disco in Vt and drove it to Ga in November with no problems. a LR can certainly make the trip to CA. It will be a great way to bond with your truck. Just take it to a shop and have all the fluids changed, give it a once over, and roll. Make an adventure out of it. after all LR's are all about adventure. Besides if you are afraid to drive it across country you probably shouldn't buy it. In my 14 years of LR ownership I have noticed that the ones that get driven are always the best.

Good luck and enjoy the D110.

Thanks for the mention, Tony!
I'm very near Harrisburg (Hershey, actually) which is about 225 miles from Pittsburgh. I am an indy Land Rover shop.
If I can be of service, please give me a call.
410.227.2523 is my mobile.
